First Life blog!
Hey everyone :) Please excuse the tidiness and layout of this blog as it is being written on the train. I just finished work :D can't wait to go home and relllaxxx!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend. I know I did even though I did not do much.
One of my highlights of the weekend was setting up this blog! It feels great to wake up each morning to find out how many views I get and from which country! So interesting! According to statistics, most of to readers are from UK... Then USA... Australia... Canada and Singapore! Where are you from?
Another highlight of the weekend was learning how to make a roast dinner by scratch. Boy, it's hard work but it's totally worth it when you dig in. I love roast dinners! I would never complain eating it every Sunday xD
Here are aome snappy snaps:
It tastes as good as it looks! All thanks to my brother in law. He taught me how to make it from scratch ^.^ from seasoning potatoes to roasting the chicken in low heat and without burning the wings. All so technical.... Some day I will make a lovely roast dinner for my family :)
Today at work we celebrated Bastille day by having a yummy French breakfast feast! Benefits of working in a French company :)
It was such a treat! I love eating pain du chocoats... Paul's Patisserie makes the best ones <3 but I had to control myself as I already had breakfast and took a big lunch with me to work :'(
It's so sad that I will be leaving this work place on Wednesday. I love the work environment and the workers are like a family to me. Everyone is so laid back and friendly! I will definitely miss wearing casual clothes to work... Skinny jeans and converse are now to be replaced with pencil skirts and black heels as I will be working in a rather professional office environment... I will be an "OL" ;)
Here is a quick snap of me trying and stocking up work attire :) It is an exciting change!
Today at lunch time, I had to pop in to House of Fraser to collect some stuff for my brother in law. BAD MOVE... there was a BLUE CROSS SALE :'( I ended up being sucked in to the cosmetic hall and walked out with a big filled of goodies!! I'm excited to test them :) New blog post coming soon...
I alway came across this beauty......
Oh my, it was soooooo pretty! I really love the Primrose bag... It's a pity that Mulberry have got so pricy in the last few years. This bag, on sale, is still around £550 T_T my boyfriend and family would not be happy as I just spent a lot of money during my trip to Italy last month. oh well Maybe next time...
Time to end my blog but before I do... check out father-to-be Tim being ever so proud of himself for building the baby's cot, pram and baby-carier. He's such a dork! LOL bless!
I really miss them... normally at this time of year I would be in HK eating and buying all sorts! Sigh... Maybe next year I can visit them! Can't wait to meet baby Isaac! Christmas shall be fun this year :) I will have two new baby neice and nephew to play with!
Now to enjoy the rest of my evening.
