Leaving do and back to Northern Ireland.

Hi everyone!

If you follow me on Instagram you should already know that I went home to Northern Ireland for a long weekend before I start my new job!

I arrived back on Wednesday night... After my last day at my previous work :( even though I was leaving... The people made me feel so so happy and special.

A few people were off so It's a pity I could not say goodbye to them but the rest of them came out for my leaving lunch. We went to BYRON which is a London "proper burger" chain :)

Then towards the end of the day, I had a little farewell party :') I was so happy to see everyone. Thanks to my amazing manager for organising it. I did not even know it was taking place as everyone started leaving to enter the kitchen which was right beside me! I was so oblivious haha!! It was a lovely surprise!

There was CAKE! Two types of cake... Yum!! And a really big leaving card! Which  was filled of lovely messages. I can't express how happy I was.  I will definitely miss this place.

I also good a big goodie bag :D can't wait to use everything and do reviews...

I arrived back to NI at 10pm and the first to see me is my lovely boyfriend ^_^ he collected me from the airport!

Can I stress how hard it was for me to collect the chubby stick freebie from glamour magazine? I could not find it anywhere in London but I finally came across it at the airport >:D HURRAY! Also purchased Cosmopolitan for the NewCid lipstick :) test test test!

My boyfriend got me the bag that I've wanted for ages but could not get because it was from America. Conincidently, he has an auntie in America who went out of her way to get it for me <3 meet the Ann Taylor Gallery Tote Bag...

Excuse the mess of my boyfriends spare room.  But the bag is perfect :) i wanted to use it as my new work bag. Wanted something not expensive but still looks chic and stylish. I first came across it from StylishPetite's Instagram page.

Such a pretty colour! The bag is inexpensive... About $100 but auntie bought it during the sale so it was half price! Basically the equivilent of £20! BARGAIN! There are some detail of the bag that was unexpected and I did not like but as per usual, I will do a review on in when I properly use it!

Being back home has been lovely. I love Northern Ireland :) it's so calm and peaceful (contrary to popular belief ha!). What I love most is that I get to be with my family, boy friend, close friends and my dogs...

MAC and MIA

With mummy Mac and Mia ^_^
They have grown so so so much! And they are only a few months old. Very hard to believe! They are very naughty but you cannot stay mad at them for long because they are just so cute. My granny keeps giving off about them trampling over her crops but I know deep down she love them to bits. I'm glad they bring happiness to her ^_^

Every morning I wake up and go to the garden to chill out with my granny and the dogs.  My granny is usually working away planting her beloved choi. Her favourite hobby.

Notice that there are plastic and metal fencing across her field? That's prevent the two rascals from trampling across her crops haha!!

I love eating my granny's veggies! I used to hate them as a kid but now that I'm living in London, I actually feel quite deprived. Choi costs so much and it's a bit of an effort to go all the way to china town to bring them back and then to find time to cook... Effort x.x

So now I appreciate all the goodness it brings. My granny made my favourite Kai choi soup ^_^ so easy to make. She even taught me... Although the chances of me making this is London is very slim haha but it's good to know for future :)

Kai choi soup... Made with love! What's good is that I know there's no chemicals, fertilisers or urine used to grow the choi :) 100% naturallllll!

Finally... To end this blog with Thursday's outfit. I did not bring any clothes back with me so I relied on my (and my mothers) old wardrobe.

Wearing small classic Chanel cross body bag, black skort and my mothers black flats with gold hardware detail.

  1. What is your new job? And nice bag, can't wait to see the review and detail. I have been eyeing it up too but it's too much with shopping costs and not sure it's worth it as I haven't seen one in person yet. Keep up the blog, love reading more about u. :)
